About

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the ASU School of Earth and Space Exploration. I study the excited states of diatomic and small molecules and their photodissociation / fluorescence etc. This has involved theoretical treatment by solution of a coupled-Schroedinger equation of nuclear motion, experiments involving photoabsorption, electron excitation, fluorescence and some others.

The spectroscopic data resulting from these studies has application to the chemistry of interstellar clouds, circumstellar material, protoplanetary disks, and (exo-)planetary atmospheres. This includes the ongoing chemistry of photodissociation products and their isotopic fractionation following from isotope-selective photodissociation.
